Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport

Early in 2015 ICE Training’s international consultant was contacted by the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport regarding specific skills gaps amongst their staff.

The need
Our consultant worked closely with the Ministry and identified key learning and development needs in contract and project management.  It was decided that a 5 day programme combining and consolidating ICE Training’s Construction Project Management, Construction Disputes Masterclass and Principles of Construction Contracts courses, would  satisfy development needs.

The training delivery
As part of its drive for knowledge growth in international construction and engineering practices, The Ministry requested that training be delivered by ICE Training tutors in the UK to 11 of its staff and the programme include an ICE site visit. Delegates were chaperoned by an ICE Training consultant throughout travel and non-teaching days.
