In a dynamic business environment, where uncertainties are inevitable, mastering risk management is key to achieving project success. By anticipating and addressing risks early, projects can avoid costly delays, budget overruns, and quality issues. Furthermore, effective risk management fosters resilience, ensuring projects can adapt to unforeseen circumstances.

By completing the APM Risk Level 1 course you will understand the importance of risk management and how it enables proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential obstacles. It will enhance your confidence, facilitate informed decision-making, and ultimately increases the likelihood of project success.

The training is designed to build on the knowledge gained in the APM Project Management Qualification or similar project management training or qualifications.

The Risk 1 exam syllabus is largely derived from APM's Project Risk Analysis and Management (PRAM) guide 2nd edition. It contains 8 learning outcomes and is set at a foundational level.

Duration

The training will take approximately 12 hours to complete.

The eLearning license is valid for 6 months after purchase.

The programme covers 11 topics across 4 modules, specifically:

The Risk level 1 module is then followed by a one hour, 60-question, multiple-choice exam.
