CDM 2015 - 6 Months on

ICE Knowledge resources on CDM 2015, giving you guidance on the best way forward following the October roll-out

CDM 2015 came into force on 6 April. CDM 2007 can only continue to be applied until 6 October. After this, the new regulations will become mandatory across projects.

Training courses

To align with this industry requirement, ICE offers a suite of training programmes, peer reviewed by the ICE Health and Safety Panel, which cover the following core CDM areas:

  • The principal differences between CDM 2007 and CDM 2015
  • The role and new requirements of the designer and principal designer
  • The importance of the client in leading the project team
  • Key project management and team-building tools

The programmes are available throughout 2015 and into 2016, ensuring you can embed and maintain the new standards across your practices after the October roll-out.

Webinar

Building on the success of the ICE Health & Safety Panel’s last webinar on 21 April 2015, where over 800 people tuned in, the Panel will once again host a free CDM webinar on 6 October 2015. Six Months On, Developments, Experiences and the Way Forward will look back on the last six months and share experiences with fellow practitioners.

The webinar will be chaired by panel member David Lambert who is Safety, Health and Environmental Manager for Kier Group. Join him, along with speakers Tony Putsman and Russell Adfield to make sure you are fully prepared and informed for the CDM 2015 mandate.

Tony Putsman is an ICE Training tutor for CDM 2015, and a member of the ICE Health and Safety  Panel. He is also Founder-Director of Construction Team Technologies Ltd & Xenophon Project Services Limited.
