This two-day course delivers the essential knowledge to enable clear and unambiguous detailing and scheduling to be produced for building structures.

Aimed at the structural CAD technician, the course will deliver the knowledge necessary to produce robust and rigorous detailing and scheduling of structural concrete for building structures.

Tutorials throughout the two days will ensure delegates understand the details that have been produced for their designs and appreciate the information required to allow the detailer to produce robust details and schedules on structural projects.

Structural detailing and scheduling is the link between design and construction. It is the responsibility of the designer to specify design requirements and the responsibility of the detailer to produce and communicate the details in a clear and consistent way to the construction site or fabrication facility. Good detailing has far reaching effects and can have a significant influence on the technical correctness, safety, buildability and cost of structural design.

Training courses on set dates, in ICE Training venues across the country. Suitable for those looking to attend a training course and share knowledge and practical experiences with like-minded others in an interactive learning environment.

Bespoke training programmes. These are delivered by our tutors at a time, in a location and based on a curriculum completely tailored to your needs. Ideal for organisations that have several employees wishing to take training in the same subject area, and/or have organisation-specific ideas for learning and development.
