Description

A succinct online training course that will provide you with the necessary information to be able to develop a high level business strategy, conduct a successful portfolio analysis and review your procurement options so that you choose the right contracts for your project portfolio.

Construction projects involve large capital sums, and strong commercial management is essential for success. The construction contract monitors, controls and administers the project and also defines the relationship between client, consultant and contractor.

Despite the common aim to 'get finished on time and to budget' many projects take longer than anticipated and exceed cost expectations.

There is therefore a need to develop a clear construction strategy at the outset. This accessible eLearning course, providing a quick and easy to understand overview of construction contract strategies, will equip you with the essential knowledge to fulfil that need.

The programme will introduce you to the various standard forms of contract and will highlight their differences. These include:

  • NEC3
  • FIDIC
  • ACE
  • JCT
  • PPC2000

By the end of the programme you will be able to apply your skills internationally, and select the most appropriate contract for your project portfolio.

Duration

Please note that the licence is valid for 6 months only from date of purchase.
