Offered as eLearning or an intensive two day training course, you will learn the foundations for effective technical report and business writing in a work environment.

Reports are essential to the development of a business: projects are bid for, initiated, monitored and closed by those reading reports designed to inform a decision best for the business.  A good report will not only contain all the facts and figures required for that decision but must be presented with the reader in mind; how you commit your facts and figures to paper has as strong an impact as those facts and figures themselves.

This training course is designed to give those who are tasked with turning their technical knowledge and expertise into reports used for business planning the knowledge and skills they need.

The basics of communication are discussed at the outset and the general structure of reports outlined to ensure clear dissemination of written information.

Understanding your audience is never more important than when writing for them; get the structure, messaging and presentation right and the reader will be engaged from the first word.

The training course demonstrates the value and methods of good writing by using lots of specific examples: delegates are encouraged to bring examples with them to provide some real context for the work done.

The further learning value and structure of this training course conforms to CPD guidelines. ICE Training Technical Report and Business Writing - CPD certification
