Prove your health and safety expertise to employers

Prove your health and safety expertise to employers

The ICE Health and Safety Register is a published, regulated list of professionally qualified engineers who have knowledge and skills in this area.

Being on the register sets you apart as an engineering health and safety professional and helps show that you meet the requirements of CDM 2015 and other regulatory standards.

It is proof of your capability to carry out work in a way that secures health and safety in your organisation.

What do you need to apply?

In order to qualify for the register you need to show proof of the following:

  • A technical competence in construction (e.g. IEng, CEng or equivalent)
  • Health and safety skills, knowledge and experience that exceeds the basic minimum technical standards
  • Successfully completed an ICE Health and Safety Register Assessment

How can ICE Training help?

Attending one of the training programmes from the popular ICE Training CDM 2015 suite counts towards your continuing professional development (CPD) with ICE.

The training has been developed to support the 'health and safety skills, knowledge and experience that exceeds the basic minimum technical standards' that you need to prove during your application for the Register.
