About PAS128
Launched in June 2014 by the BSI and the Institution of Civil Engineers, PAS128 aims to provide a clear and unambiguous provision for those engaged in the detection, verification and location of active, abandoned, redundant or unknown utilities.
As the demand on the nation’s infrastructure continues to grow due to new developments, the need to replace and/or maintain existing utilities increases. It is therefore essential that accurate information about where underground utilities are located is available.
Free webinar
ICE is holding a webinar on BSI PAS128 on Friday 20 February at 12:15 pm. It is free to attend and will be hosted by Nick Zemballis, international technical advisor on subsurface utility engineering and member of the PAS 128 Drafting Committee, and a representative from BSI. By the end of the webinar you will have gained clarity on the new specification, its current applications across industry, and how it can be applied across your projects.
