Description

A one day training course that provides a comprehensive grounding in the scope and application of the four key standards of Volume 7 of the DMRB for pavement design.

The four key standards covered in this programme include:

  • HD 24 - Traffic Assessment
  • HD 25 - (IAN 73) Design Guidance for Road Pavement Foundations
  • HD 26 - Pavement Design
  • HD 36 - Surfacing Materials for New and Maintenance Construction

It will look at the content, impact and implementation of these standards in design. By the end of the training course, you will have the confidence and knowledge to undertake designs to the latest revisions of the key Standards. It will deliver essential advice, knowledge and capability to those involved in pavement design. Supporting sessions consider key properties of asphalt surface courses.

The course is highly interactive and includes presentations, notes, tutorial exercises, case studies and delegate discussion to ensure effective learning outcomes.
